About Tech Whois
Tech Whois is a global technology directory built to bring the world of tech into one place. From tech companies, products, and services to jobs, news, and gadgets, the platform is designed to become the internet’s number one destination for everything technology.
The name “Tech Whois” is inspired by the word “Whois,” which is used online to identify the affiliation behind a domain or website. In the same way, Tech Whois gives users deeper insight into tech companies by showcasing their founders, products, services, and objectives. By presenting companies uniquely through their logos and names, Tech Whois creates a creative, competitive, and visually engaging platform that connects the global tech industry into one powerful tech universe.
About the founder
I am Rohin Singh, the founder of Tech Whois and Careers Provider, based in South Africa. I created these two companies because I want to make a meaningful difference in my country and in the world. I am passionate about technology and the positive impact it can have on people’s lives, and I hope to create that same impact through my start-ups.
About Careers Provider
Careers Provider is a job advertising website designed to help job seekers find employment opportunities. The platform aims to simplify the recruitment and job-seeking process for both recruitment companies and job seekers. The website and business are fully active, but currently operating on a small scale. Funding is needed to expand the start-up, including the hiring of staff, increased marketing, and further development.
Purpose of Tech Whois
I created Tech Whois as a global technology platform that brings tech companies together in one place while also helping to support the growth of Careers Provider. The idea was to create a website that offers real value to companies through visibility, branding, and presence in a global tech directory, while at the same time contributing to the expansion of another meaningful start-up. Companies outside Africa can be listed for a once-off fee of 99 US dollars, while companies based in Africa can be listed for R99. Non-profit organisations are listed free of charge, allowing businesses and organisations of all sizes to be part of Tech Whois.
